The Regency International Centre has a very proud history which began in 1973 with the establishment of a small School of Food and Catering at the Pennington Migrant Hostel (just a few kilometres away from the Centre's current location). In 1977, the School of Food and Catering shifted to new

At the same time, Le Cordon Bleu - notably the most famous cooking School in the world formed a partnership with the Regency Hotel School to deliver Le Cordon Bleu courses on its behalf and to be the headquarters for its Asia-Pacific operations. In 2002, the Regency Hotel School shifted to a new $40 million purpose-built facility also on the Regency Park site. At this time it changed its name to the Regency International Centre to reflect the diversity of programs that it currently delivers.
